~All of us can spend at least two hours out of our day in recreational activities. If you work behind a desk you’ll need something to unwind from a busy day and if you’re a working mum you’ll need somewhere to go with the kids before or after work.

Tomorrow morning organisers at Preston Parks have considered the above and so have catered for an ‘Equinox Walk at Haslam Park’. The park is just off Blackpool Road near the bridge, close to  an array of shops.

It will be a pleasant autumnal walk led by the Park Ranger. You will take in the sights and sounds of the park and you will have the opportunity to see the lovely pond set amidst a quiet retreat.

If you’re interested in attending, you will need to meet at the Haslam Park former bowling greens at 10am. Admission is free and the walk will conclude at 12noon.

You will also have the chance to view the Lancaster canal and the footpaths of Cottam.
