~Tribute acts in general depict an affectionate nod to a best selling band or individual artist. They strive to capture the same magic that perhaps the former singer or band once had. One things certain, they are not the genuine article but merely an act that honours the acclaimed musicians where fans have the opportunity to relive their misspent youth once again.

Singer songwriters Tim Chu and Ian Bailey have created their own unique interpretation of two of music’s most well known song writing partnerships.

‘A Celebration of Simon and Garfunkel’ will see the duo perform some of the group’s biggest hits in an peaceful and relaxed setting. You can see their performance at Longton Methodist Church on Marsh Lane, Preston. Tickets are purchased at £5 per person and are  available online via WeGotTickets or by email enquiry ktbmusic@live.co.uk.

The performance will take place this Thursday 5th April and will  last just three quarters of an hour from 1pm -1.45pm. In addition, light lunches are provided by The Village Teapot at a cost of £2.

The afternoon’s entertainment is part of the KTB Music Lunchtime Recital Series so stay tuned for up and coming events of local live music.
