The Bowie Experience Saturday 6th May 2017 Preston Guild Hall

Nov, 10 2016

~10th January 2016 is etched in the mind and hearts of David Bowie fans worldwide. His unique appeal was formed on the creative basis of consistently changing his sound and look as each decade evolved from the mid 60s to the 21st century.

“He was an artist that happened to be into music”, friend and music associate Iggy Pop once said in a recent edition of ‘Later..with Jools Holland’. How appropriate those words were. Recently an exhibition of Bowie’s favourite art has been commissioned confirming further the above words of Iggy.

The good news is friends and fans of the late music icon have not forgotten Bowie’s finest hours. Tribute acts have no doubt developed their sound and stage presence since David’s untimely death.

Next year The Bowie Experience comes to the Preston Guild Hall on Saturday 6th May 2017. The band epitomize  the thin white duke and have been described as the world’s most authentic tribute to Bowie.

Tickets cost £25.50 but you can get them a little cheaper for £21.50 if you book before 31st December 2016. To book, simply contact the box office on :- 01772 80 44 44.

The Guild Hall and Charter Theatre can be found on Lancaster Road, Preston, amidst a busy city centre and a thriving nightlife of pubs, clubs and fine eating establishments.

The Bowie Experience has been described as “an absolute delight, superb” by The Western Gazette.

It’s a number one celebration of Bowie. More importantly 2017 marks the year Bowie would have been 70. So reminisce over  The Golden Years, meet up with All the Young Dudes and Let’s Dance to this unique Starman who was a complete Rebel Rebel and a charismatic Space Oddity.

The Bowie Experience, Saturday 6th May 2017, 7.30pm at the Preston Guild Hall.
