On Sunday 23rd August 2015 Preston will be transformed into a cultural hubbub of performance, art, music and interactive education all creatively themed to the four elements. Covering areas such as Avenham Park, Miller Park and the Flag market expect the unexpected and be inspired with a wide range entertainment, relaxation and food and drink available on the day.
The organisers behind the event however are looking for the talented people of Preston to come forward and show their support in areas such as ‘the inspiration alley’ , ‘the soul and spirit area’ ‘ the creation village’ and ‘the belvedere’. Willing volunteers are also needed to be stewards, construction, and help in catering. You will receive a certificate for your hard work which will add to your C.V. and work experience.
For the ‘ inspiration alley’ small businesses, movement groups, charity and religious groups are required. If you or someone would like a stall contact 07482 456 313. You will be expected to inform and educate the public.
For ‘the soul and spirit area’ people needed should be qualified to practice tarot reading, tai chi and yoga. Short demonstrations of your work would be required. For more information contact 07482 456 313. It will take place at Miller Park form 12-5pm.
For ‘ the creation village’ , creative or education workshop would be needed. Taught to a wide range of age groups. Once again the number is 07482 456 313.

Additionally, there will be live music, fresh food to buy, face painting for children, learn how to make a veggie instrument and join the Peace Tribe Parade as they stomp round town every couple of hours.
