~You could say that environmentalist  David Attenbourough is an expert in his field. He could command an audience on the subject of nature based on his many decades in the dedication of his work.

David though is a public figure, on a more local level what is available for people to speak about nature to an appreciative audience?

The Preston Society Birdwatching & Natural History meets every Monday evening from 7.30pm from October - March.

They are a group of friendly people, who have wide ranging interests in different fields of the natural world around us. Everyone is happy to share their knowledge and they  welcome people of any age, who have not been before. Many who attend soon become members.

Subjects vary from :-
