~Fiction :-
Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, commonly shortened to Hogwarts, is a fictional British school of magic for students aged eleven to eighteen, and is the primary setting for the first six books in J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter series.

Fact :-
Stonyhurst College is a coeducational Roman Catholic independent school, adhering to the Jesuit tradition, on the Stonyhurst Estate, Lancashire, England. It occupies a Grade I listed building. The school has been fully co-educational since 1999.

Although the two vary in fantasy and reality, they do share the uniqueness for teaching young people to be better equipped to deal with life as adults be it tackling goblins or gruesome work.

It’s a place like Stonyhurst College that author J.K. Rowling  looked to for inspiration when she began writing her much loved books. The interpretation into film helped fans gain a further insight into the world Rowling had created.

This weekend you could be one of many to experience the very first Stonyhurst Literary and Film Festival.

In addition to discussions on Harry Potter they’ll also be time for literary experts to talk in depth about J.R.R. Tolkein the mastermind behind the Lord of the Rings series.
