~The Voice. Not am not talking about a particular Saturday night television show, I am referring to the vocal ability we have to talk and sing. Our human voice can create some beautiful sounds and, when in a collective group the harmonies that it transcends are truly breathtaking.

As part of UCLAN’s ‘Something for Everyone’  project you could be part of a singing group. The Preston People’s Choir meets every Tuesday for a two hour duration ( 7-9pm). Located at the Universities Media Factory, Room 226.

Don’t worry if you’re an absolute beginner as the choir welcomes all ages and abilities. In addition, knowledge of music reading is not required and no audition is necessary.The choir follows Natural Voice principles meaning it is accessible and open to anyone who wants to sing.

The entrance fee varies from £3 - £6 depending on your ability to pay.

 Come along try something new, you never know there could be either a Susan Boyle or a Michael Ball just  fighting to be unleashed!
