Kites And Crafts - Hoghton Tower - Preston - 10am - 4pm - 9/9/18

~Many things can dominate the skies. Birds, aeroplanes and sadly even rain. But something quite marvellous is circling the clouds this coming weekend.

On Sunday 9th September you could be part of a crowd of many seeing their airborne creation take to the air. ‘Kites and Crafts’ will navigate it’s way above Hoghton Tower in Preston from 10am - 4pm.

Cost of admission is £3 and children under 5 years of age are free to attend. Youngsters are encouraged to bring their own small kite or alternatively they can buy and build a small kite kit at the Tower for just £3.50.

In addition, children can bring their favourite teddy bear and take part in ‘teddy bear dropping’ in which they can watch their toy take a personal parachute jump!

The day is in association with The Northern Kite Group and the Hoghton Tower Preservation Trust. Let’s just hope the weather stays dry so we can all see a beautiful array of kites in all shapes and sizes.

There are also guided tours available at the house from 11am -3pm as well as the pleasant garden, gift shop and tea room open from 10am - 4pm.
