Engaging Talk On UCLAN - 3-5pm - 24/5/18

~When a person decides to study a course at a University they are hoping to enhance their life in the following ways :-

1. It could increase your social network and 2. It could get you a good job to set you up for life.

On Thursday 24th May between 3pm -5pm is an engaging talk held at UCLAN’S Greenbank Lecture Theatre. Etienne Weger will be developing the theme :- Universities Matter :- The Impact of UCLAN on the Region.

Mr. Weger is an experienced speaker in the field of social learning and communities of practice. His delivery will help audiences to appreciate the sheer magnitude and possibilities studying at a University can have on a person.

In addition, an interactive debate with colleagues and regional voices will discern to the public the perceived impact Universities can create for the well being of the individual and for their chosen future career.

It is free  to attend and there is a drinks reception and canapés following the talk.
