Conference At UCLAN For Community Pharmacists 9.30am -4.30pm 22/4/18

Apr, 17 2018

~You may visit your local chemist and assume they just hand out medication without little knowledge about the condition or the symptoms in which the person suffers with.  They do however, know a great deal more than your brief interchange you have recently or in the past experienced.

Community Pharmacists need ongoing training to deal effectively with customers who present to them challenging and difficult illnesses. It’s good to know then that conferences are provided to enable community pharmacists to discern and determine the patients condition and treat it accordingly.

On Sunday 22nd April between 9.30am - 4pm is a free one day conference at UCLAN’S, Greenbank Building in Preston. ‘Enhancing Your Diagnostic Skills’ will showcase how community pharmacists can provide even greater levels of support to their patients and the general public by improving their diagnostic approach.

The session will include the following three important discussions :-

•Improving diagnostic decisions through adoption of clinical reasoning
•To expand your scope of practice through performing basic physical assessments
•Adopting an evidence-based approach to OTC therapeutics

If you are a community pharmacist am sure you will greatly benefit from this conference.
