~In the modern world a solitary lifestyle can bring all sorts of problems. Loss of confidence, an inability to mix with friends and family and a self centred path which can only bring disappointment. It’s apparent therefore that our strong desire to form and maintain relationships is vital to keep going in life.

A play which focuses on the latter part of the above will remind us all about the love and friendship we continually crave and need to endure.

Originally produced by the Royal National Theatre and a winner of the George Devine Award, The Strangeness of Others is an intriguing play about our relationships and need for other people.

It will be performed on Friday 23rd March 2018 from 7.40pm - 9.45pm at the Media Factory Room 007, Preston. Pay as you enter at a cost of £8 and £5 concessions. Please note - this play contains strong language and is not suitable for children. For more information please contact Mark Whitelaw via email at :- candtevents@uclan.ac.uk

Second year acting students will effectively interpret the play as they explore themes such as trust, fear and hope. A variety of locations will set each  scene in this touching drama from cold shop doorways to warm lavish penthouse apartments.
