Finding Employment Abroad - UCLAN - March 2018

~Perhaps you’re a student studying a  language in your final year. Or maybe you’re a translator but wish to work abroad to further your career and unlock your potential.

Thankfully there is group that can provide expert advice and guidance in how to find employment in a foreign destination. Since late November last year the Worldwise Learning Centre at UCLAN  has given interested ones specific talks centred around the country and the work related  opportunities. In the last three months it has focused on the following countries :- Russia, Germany, Japan and Arabic speaking countries.

On Wednesday March 7th between 3-4pm you can learn from an engaging talk about ‘Finding Employment in Korea’. This 60 minute presentation will give you the essential hints and tips in finding that perfect job in Korea. It will help you prepare for the working environment, make you aware of any social faux pas and develop your interview techniques.

The talk is located at UCLAN’s  Adelphi Building at the ABLTVi room in Preston. Tickets are free but reservations are required.

On the 15th March a talk will be given focusing on China. This will take place at the Adelphi Lecture Theatre 4 between 1-2pm. You can save tickets for this and the one mentioned above by logging onto :- www.uclan.ac.uk /www.ticketsource.co.uk.
