Moonlight Drive - In Cinema Deepdale Preston 26/1/18- 28-1/18

~As January reaches it’s end for another year there are several certainties, 1. The weather is still grim and 2. The dark evenings are still upon us. Bearing the two points in mind then, it would appear all of us need something to brighten up our evenings with good company and good entertainment.

We’re fortunate  to have the ‘Moonlight Drive-In Cinema’ returning to Deepdale Shopping, Blackpool Road, Preston,  this  Friday 26th January - Sunday 28th January 2018. Here is a full schedule of the classic films you can expect to see:-

* Moana - Friday 26 January, 6pm :- This animated tale is set in Ancient Polynesia in which Moana ( played by Auli’I Cravalho) must lift the curse from the island, with the help of Demigod Maui ( played by Dwayne Johnson)

*Dirty Dancing - Friday 26 January, 8.15pm :- This 1987 classic starring the late Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey sees a love story develop as the two share their life together, through dance.

* Tangled - Saturday 27 January, 6.15pm :- In this modern day animated take of Rapunzel we see how one woman finds herself and the world around her. Featuring the voices of Mandy Moore, Zachary Levi and  Donna Murphy.

* Back to the Future - Saturday 27 January, 8.15pm :- In this 1985 comedy science fiction adventure we see the plight of a young man  Marty Mcfly, discovering a world 30 years previously thanks to a time machine and his friend Doc Brown and the quest he must take to bring his parents together to maintain peace in the future. Directed by Robert  Zemeckis and starring Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd and  Lea Thompson.

Pretty Woman - Sunday 28 January, 6.15pm :- Richard Gere and Julia Roberts star in a romantic comedy that finds Gere using Roberts’ prostitute prowess to boost his personal status only to find the two hitting it off. Featuring the music of Roy Orbison.

Notting Hill - Sunday 28 January, 8.45pm :-  Another Julia Roberts classic, this time however she plays the role of a famous film star who begins a relationship with a book shop owner ( played by Hugh Grant) Written by Richard Curtis, this 1999 film is an affectionate follow-up to Curtis’ previous masterpiece ‘Four Weddings and a Funeral’.
