Winckley Square - Guided Walks And Talks - 1/11/17 - 18/3/18

~You could walk around your local park or community and simply take it for granted. You may be unaware of it’s historic relevance and architectural heritage.

Now, thanks to The Friends of Winckley Square Gardens in Preston, you and your closest allies could be part of a walking experience which will take in the many treasures of this unique setting.

Scheduled to take place from Wednesday November 1st 2017 - Sunday 18th March 2018 between the hours of 2pm and 4pm in the afternoon. Interested ones will meet at Winckley Square and cost of admission is completely free.

There will also be an opportunity to hear inspiring talks about the people who once lived here and the lives they led in times gone by.

Please note :-

If you have a group of friends or colleagues who would like a dedicated guided tour these can be booked in advance.

It is also possible to incorporate viewing the Inside Out Exhibition and lunch or afternoon tea if you wish. To discuss arrangements please contact: louise.mor@groundwork.org.uk

All will be made welcome and many of the walks will be accessible for wheelchairs. Just come along!
