Preston Labour Film Night - 29/9/17 UCLAN

Sep, 26 2017

~Documentary led films are, in general presented to an audience who have an interest in the footage depicted. They may go into great depth and reveal information we, the viewer may not have previously understood or acknowledged. It could be a particular evening where a television channel devotes considerable films on a themed person or subject. In the realm of politics short films could be presented and narrated in way that chronicles the very battles that have led it’s specific party to the present day.

This Friday September 29th 2017 between 6.30pm - 9pm you can experience ‘Preston Labour Film Night’ exclusively shown at UCLAN’S Mitchell and Kenyon cinema at the Foster Building, Preston.

An evening of short films on labour movement struggle will be delivered to the public in a relaxed and friendly environment.

The films have been carefully selected and presented by Anna Burton, director of the London Labour Film Festival and North West Labour Film Festival.

The evening is hosted by UCU and Preston Trades Council as part of the Preston People's Festival. People of all ages are invited to share a night of politically themed films with the strong emphasis on the labour movement struggle. To book your place please visit www.uclan.ac.uk
