~When aspects of our cultural environment return to form it brings both excitement and immense anticipation. Popular science fiction drama Dr. Who came back to the BBC in 2005 which received mixed reviews yet a sheer thrill for it’s fans. 90’s boy band Take That staged a huge comeback in 2006 with first release after ten years being the appropriately named ‘Patience’. Both examples demonstrate that when something was a success and the  chance at a revival or recreating the same magic many years later there is, on most occasions a positive outcome.

Following the success of last time the local museum at art gallery in Preston are proud to announce Harris Live is back by popular demand! Five eclectic music performances will take place between the months of 4th October 2017 - 7th March 2018. Please note - there will not be a performance in January 2018.

Here is a complete overview of the acts expected to perform :-

* 4th October :- Northern String Quartet -  a classical ensemble of members who create orchestral pieces of well known songs.

* 1st November :- Daniella Gallagher - A musician who comprises a range of genres into her repertoire including jazz, blues, musical theatre, rock and roll and current chart classics.

* 6th December - The Well-Dressed Gentleman - This classy singer will perform tracks that date back to the 20s and 30s with humour and style.

* 7th February 2018 - Beer for Breakfast - A lively group who bring a mix of Irish and Celtic rock to their performance.

* 7th March 2018 - UCLAN Chamber Choir - An award winning choir who are all BA ( Hons ) Music Theatre undergraduate singers with set comprising of the Renaissance period to more  contemporary chart  music.

Each and every performance will begin at 7.30pm and conclude at 9.30pm. Doors will open at 7pm. Tickets are priced at £8 each and can be booked via www.skiddle.com.
