Come Dine With Me Filming In Preston And Blackpool

~We all like a good get together over a meal with close friends, loved ones and relatives. We all like a host carrying the evening in a fine and acceptable way. We all also like a little entertainment to let our hair down and have fun. We all like to do these things on a regular occasion but if it’s with people we don’t know that well, if, at all, it presents a slightly different story.

Hit reality TV show ‘Come Dine with Me’ has been making people laugh for several years now. With it’s eccentric brand of contestants and a comical spin on things provided by narrator Dave Lamb.

Some time ago it was filmed in Preston and captured local artist/ bohemian Graham Easterlow at his personal best. Now in 2016, it’s recruiting people for an episode catered for Preston and Blackpool residents.

Gyorgy Nanasi, researcher for the show expresses these words of uniqueness required to participate in the hit programme,

 “We’re looking for people in the area who love their food, know how to cook, have their own opinions and know how to state them. We don’t do conflict but if everyone has the same opinions, they’re all called Darren and they’re all 25 it would make quite a boring show.”

Over the course of a week we see each host take the reigns of their own house, serve, deliver and entertain their guests in their own individual way. A voting system is taken at the end of each show and the guests go home in a black cab. At  the closure of the week the winner is announced, going home with a prize fund in excess of £1,000 cash.
