Best Of Britannia 2016. March 11th -13th

Feb, 11 2016

~We’ve all had ‘best ofs’ in our life, right? Perhaps it a ‘best of’ collection from one of your favourite bands. Maybe even a ‘best of’ of your other half’s meals she/he has made in the past twelve months. Or could it be the ‘best of’ your 50 years together in a happy wedding anniversary photo collection.

How about though a ‘Best of’ which would encapsulate all of what the UK offers in a cultural and contemporary way. ‘Best of Britannia North’ ( or BOB ) does just that. Fulfilling the motive that British companies design and/or manufacture in the UK.

Support to run these BOB events collectively comes from UCLAN, Marketing Lancashire, Creative Lancashire, Virgin Trains and Preston City Council.

The latter one being of particular interest as it’s Preston’s historic Post office building at the Flag Market  where it will be based for a three day period, Friday 11th-Sunday 13th March 2016.

A unique pop-up department store will be open to the public between the hours of 10.am -6pm. It will feature all sorts of brands from the realms of menswear, womenswear, childrenswear, footwear, furniture and furnishings, jewellery and accessories, food, drink and entertainment. It’s available to all so feel free to and enjoy spending or browsing at your leisure.

It is £4.00 for public entry which includes a free craft beer or cocktail.

Those who annually purchase from BOB  are very discerning. They could be bespoke trade or opinion-forming consumer buyers. It can reach a global audience yet Made in Britain is something to be proud of.

BOB are  taking it to the heart of a county renowned globally as the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution, the North West favourite, Preston.
