Everybody likes a good story. A romantic escapism to take you away from the day’s trying troubles. The good news? The Grand in Clitheroe is screening a film that will do just that. Billed as ‘Ladies Night’ you could be one of many watching an emotional love story unfold before your very eyes.
When Amanda and Dawson met as teens they were instant soul mates. They were however from different backgrounds. Their circumstances led them to drift apart. 20 years later they met once again due to the passing of a mutual friend. When one of them fulfils the wishes of their lost friend they rekindle their affection. Amanda though is still married (unhappily ) she still has feelings for Dawson and can’t forgive him for pushing her away.
Simply titled ‘The Best of Me’ you and your friends could be enjoying a ‘ladies only’ evening on Tuesday 7th July 2015. Tickets cost £14.50. Doors open 7pm with food being served at 7.30pm. Menu to be confirmed on the day. Wine at £10. The film lasts just under two hours.

The Grand continues to bring in a mixture of film, comedy, theatre and music to it’s venue. With more cultural hubbubs being created in towns and villages and city centres it just adds to the growing increase of the need for the arts to reached the hearts of it’s people.
