No Whispers Community Interest Company (CIC) is an award-winning UK-based social enterprise founded by Karen Livesey and based in Lancashire, dedicated to preventing the sexual and criminal abuse and exploitation of children and young people.
The organisation operates on the principle that safeguarding cannot remain a whispered topic; instead, adults across all levels of society—professionals, volunteers, businesses, and communities—need to be educated and empowered to recognise the warning signs and take appropriate safeguarding action
Safeguarding isn’t something we should ever whisper about. Abuse and exploitation thrive in silence, and keeping children and young people safe is everyone’s responsibility.
Whether you’re a professional, a volunteer, a local business owner, or a neighbour, you have a part to play. We’re here to cut through the jargon, remove the myths, and give people the confidence to spot the red flags, speak up before harm happens and prevent child sexual and criminal exploitation and abuse.
