Spotlight on CCG Members - Arnold Gangaidzo - June 2023

Our teeth are a vital part of our body. Looking after them by a professional helps to restore peace of mind knowing that they are taken care of for the foreseeable future.

Some people aspire to get into dentistry in their youth and many say, although challenging, it can be a rewarding and financially strong career to be in.

This was the direction that this month’s ‘Spotlight on CCG Members’ went down – Preston based Arnold Gangaidzo. Let us get ‘our teeth’ into this jet setting man.

Arnold was studying at a couple of universities that gave him the knowledge and skills to work effectively as a dentist –

• University of Leicester in 2013 with a degree in Medical Physiology

• University of Central Lancashire in 2017 with a degree in Dentistry.

In the six years since his last degree, he has been working as a dentist within the Lancashire region. In his time away from work he was able to visit primary and secondary schools.

Arnold’s frequent visits here inspired him to start DentalMentorUK which aims to support students in their applications to dental school.

His next long- term goal is to become a dental practice owner and his work with DentalMentorUk is developing the skills needed to become successful in business.

Arnold is also the co-founder of MTO (Meet the owner). This involvement will boost his potential within the business side of dentistry.

Here he speaks positively about the influence of MTO in his life –

“MTO allows me and the other co-founders to explore the traits found in thriving businesses as well as share these on a digital platform so that others may also benefit”.
