Key Features Of The CCG- 'Gallery' - 24/03/20

Mar, 24 2020

~~Welcome to ‘Key Features of the CCG’. Each week until the virus fades away  I’ll be highlighting the excellent features made readily available when you access the CCG website.

These cover the following seven:-
1. GALLERY
2.  MEMBERS
3.  PATRONS
4.  ALLIED ORGANISATIONS
5.  NEWS
6.  EVENTS
7.  CCG LONDON

This week I’m going to be covering the gallery.

Galleries are a popular way of integrating images into a website, allowing users to see several images clearly at once. There are several diverse methods of generating slide shows such as these, including embedding a simple Lightbox gallery in your website with a source code and implementing the photo gallery via HTML. Another, even simpler method involves using a popular content management system. To do this with a system like TYPO3 or WordPress, users just need to find the right extension and integrate it into the basic framework.

The CCG has been involved with a variety of events and the images shown in the gallery reflect the diverse events we’ve had the pleasure to be a part of.

In the past twelve months The CCG hosted the following events:-

• Refugee Week
• Preston Jazz Festival June 2019
• Preston City Mela
• Mayor's Ball 2019

By clicking on any of the above images you’ll find the date it took place and a brief description about the event.

There are seven  pages on the galleries section which cover, in total 179 images.

Here is a miscellaneous selection of the seven pages you may wish to peruse further over the coming days:-

  1.  ‘Monuments In The Making: Investigating Neolithic Chambered Tom
  2.  Detroit Soup
  3.  UCLAN Diversity Fringe Conference 26-11-15
  4.  Aziz Band In 2000
  5.  World Wise Samba Drummers
  6.  DRWF Diabetes Wellness Days
  7.  UCLAN  Centre For Volunteering Evening 9th May

Next week I’ll be focusing on the members section which could be interesting as we’ve recently seen an increase in new members. Stay tuned!
