Korean Literature Night - UCLAN Library - 5pm-7pm - 12/02/20

Feb, 11 2020

~Just imagine a warm environment  safe from the howling wind and rain. A place where books are discussed and everyone is open minded on the subject of discussion and the central theme of the novel.

The very first Korean Literature Night is taking place tomorrow evening ( Wednesday 12th February 2020) from 5pm - 7pm. It will be based at the UCLAN Library on the second flood (Korea Corner).

This month they’ll be reading and discussing the book The Hole by Hye- Young Pyun.

Here is a little background on the night in question:-

The Hole is a  psychological thriller revolving around protagonist Ogi, who wakes up from coma caused by a devastating car accident that took his wife’s life and left him paralyzed and badly disfigured.

The Korea Culture Centre has held Korean Literature Nights previously as part of K-Wave in London, but this event will be the first for the North of England.

Please note :- this is a free event to attend.

Let’s get cosy this cold winters evening and share books up for discussion:-
