I am a change maker and I am keen to use my creative talent to open people’s minds. I am a poet and amateur writer. I play on words and use my poetry skills to express real emotion. My poems include topics about injustice including racism. I love travelling the world for my passion of street art.  I am also a keen photographer and videographer. Believe in your creativity and remain authentic…this is what makes art so beautiful.

In my professional life, I am proud to be a Social Worker. I am currently employed by the NHS as a Mental Health Practitioner within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). I am also a Guest Lecturer; I teach on the social work undergraduate and post-graduate programmes. I enjoy teaching on modules related to social work practice, social work law and policy, domestic abuse, female genital mutilation, honour-based violence and forced marriage. I have a keen interest and passion for equality, diversity and inclusion. I am a Council member with the British Association of Social Workers. Prior to these current roles, I was a Forensic Social Worker employed by the NHS in a low secure community setting working with inpatients within the criminal justice system. I enjoy nature, animals and music. I love travelling and having fun with my family and friends. I love new adventures and creating happy memories. I am passionate about making a positive impact to people’s lives and society.
