Irene Greaves

I am a Senior Lecturer at the University, where I have worked for the last 26 years and am currently course leader of the BA (Hons) Global Business Management.  I have a rather varied background, having started out in admin at York University, run a small export management company and worked in the City as a management consultant, spending a year with the Stock Exchange in the late 80s.  More recently, whilst at Uclan, I have worked as an external examiner since 1993 in many universities in the UK, France, Denmark and Hong Kong, was an elected member of North Yorkshire County Council for 8 years and have visited, amongst other places, China and Uzbekistan, where I was involved in introducing information systems into Tashkent University.
