Ceramic Art Lab - UCLAN - Monday Evenings - 16/12/19

~Are you a retired artist? Did you dedicate your life to pursuing and creating art and now, having completed that cycle you feel lost, isolated and in need of reconnecting that waning skill?

‘The Ceramic Art Lab’ meets every Monday evening at UCLAN’S ceramic workshops, Victoria Building. Approximately 20 artists have already exhibited their work. The concept behind each and every session is to promote the art of ceramics and provide a network of support to its' members.

There is the chance to experiment with clay by using  a diverse range of skills, styles and making methods which include the following four :-

  1. Sculptural
  2.  Figurative
  3.  Slip cast
  4.  Traditional studio ceramics.

Each member has been asked to showcase one piece of work that they feel reflects the development of their style. Some pieces will be available for purchase – so just in time for Christmas.

Please note :- this event is suitable for adults aged 18+. The event is free to attend and no booking is required.
