~Children like to have their own private oasis away from mum and dad where they can draw and paint. Parents who encourage their children to be artistic become creative people when they get older. But what if the parent also has a longing to be creative? Where can they go to nurture this yearning?

A drop in session for adults has been designed to get them  in touch with their artistic side. ‘Creative Place’ takes place this Thursday 7th November between the hours of 10am - 4pm.

Interested ones should make their way to the ground floor of The Harris Museum and Art Gallery in Preston which is labelled ‘Our Place’.

Creative Place is an open session for adults that wish to work on their own art/craft projects or come along to try something new with the basic materials that organisers have provided.

Please note:- the event is free to attend just come with a willingness to participate on an arts based activity.

The pencils, crayons and paints are not just for kids, adults can enjoy them too:-
