Eclipse - The Pink Floyd Experience - The Continental - Preston - 8pm - 1/11/19
Oct, 25 2019
~Pink Floyd began their career in the midst of Beatlemania, London 1965. They went from an out there psychedelic band to an epic progressive rock group. The English original five piece were synonymous for their grand theatrical pieces on tour which at once involved an enormous floating pig! They are one of the most commercially successful and influential groups in popular music history and it seemed as if no-one could emulate their magic both on record and on stage.
On Friday 1st November 2019 a tribute band will play homage to this excellent group. ‘Eclipse - The Pink Floyd Experience’ will take to the stage at 8pm. They will be performing all the hits at The Continental on South Meadow Lane, Preston.
Eclipse – The Pink Floyd Experience consist of the following people :-
- David Crilly guitars (Mothership/Court & Spark)
- Toni Hughes keyboards (Mothership/Classic Queen)
- Martin Byrne bass and vocals
- Daz Jones (Capone, AZ/DC and Rock of Ages Experience) drums
- Frank Ryan (Dr. Strangelove/Classic Queen) guitar and vocals.
- Steve Riley is on sax
- Jade Thunder (The Gary Murphy Band/Court & Spark) soaring vocals.
Fans of the original group will be delighted to see a fitting tribute playing tracks from such established albums including :-
- The Wall
- Wish You Were Here
- Meddle
- Animals

- The Division Bell.
As the show progresses you’ll be able to experience the whole of the epoch -making album ‘The Dark Side of The Moon’ in all it’s glory. Interested ones will see visual beauty from spectacular multi-media and laser effects which will set the scene for a compelling soundtrack.
