Comedy Night Coming To Penwortham - The Venue - 6.30pm -15/11/19

~Everything time you watch the news its always something either sinister or serious. As a nation we need a some light relief amongst all this despair and discouragement. Locally you may be considering watching your mates attempt to sing at the Friday night karaoke bar but something much more inviting is coming to town.

A new comedy night is set to bring lots of laughs to Penwortham. It will take place on a monthly basis at The Venue - the town’s new arts centre in the old library on Liverpool Road in conjunction with Tony Vino of Just Fair Laughs.

An experienced comedian, Tony runs his own comedy agency which puts comedy shows on all around the country. The first comedy night will take place on Friday November 15 and will be hosted by Tony – along with two other popular stand up acts.

Samantha Jones, Penwortham Town Council’s events co-ordination officer, expresses these words of assurance based on Tony’s track record of booking top performers,

“Tony organises a lot of comedy nights and we are confident with Penwortham and the surrounding areas support we will have a popular regular comedy night. Tony’s acts all come highly recommended and are popular on the scene.”

Samantha concludes by adding how much appreciation has been shown for the new building and how social media will enhance it even further,
