Fine Art Student Show 1 - UCLAN - 9am - 5pm -18/10/19 - 24/10/19

~For first year students it’s assumed that they skip lectures, party all the time and sleep a lot. This definitely does happen especially as they are young, inexperienced and enjoying life away from their parents for the first time. But what takes place in the second year is fascinating. It’s almost like they’ve put to bed everything that took place in the first year and they’re really getting down to some serious hard work.

This hard work is realised when they put on an exhibition. The ‘Fine Art Student Show 1’ takes place from Friday 18th - 24th October 2019.  It will be based at UCLAN’S Hanover Project Gallery, Hanover Building, Preston Campus between the hours of 9am - 5pm.

It’s an opportunity to see the fruit of their labours from a small group of second year fine art students. The exhibition is curated  by the students and the  show will display work that they have been developing within the fine art studios and is part of a module where students explore and develop live projects. It will be the first of four student shows taking place in this academic year.

Please note :- There will be a Private View on Thursday 17 October, 5.00pm-7.00pm with refreshments. Many of the artists will be present and all are welcome to attend. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult throughout.

The age requirement for children to attend is 5 years upwards. The event is free to attend and no booking is required.
