Creative Employment Programme

For young people wishing to pursue a career in the arts and culture sector the Creative Employment Programme is for you.

The programme offers support for traineeships, formal apprenticeships and paid internships across England for young people who are unemployed and between the ages of 16-24.

The aim of the programme is to create high quality work opportunities for young people with a view to long term employment. Furthermore, young people involved in the programme will contribute to the long term diversification of the arts and cultural workforce, particularly by creating a wider range of routes for young people to enter the creative sector. This will also lead to changes in the recruitment culture to ensue people with the most potential can access work in the arts and culture sector.
