~You may think the French horn is just a simple brass instrument but there is much more to it than meets the eye..

Anneke Scott is an experienced French horn player. Her love of the instrument dates back some considerable years, she has an  extensive collection which she  speaks fondly of.

Organisers behind The Harris Music Preston have scheduled a session in which Anneke will  display her vast collection, discuss in depth about the history and development of the French horn and also play a portion of music from classical composers.

‘Around the Horn’ will take place this Wednesday 18th September 2019 at St. Georges Church, off Lune Street, Preston. It will be an hour duration from 1pm - 2pm.Tickets are priced at £12 and are available to purchase upon entrance. Refreshments are also provided.

 Anneke will be performing with her  piano accompanist David Silkoff  to a series of six set classical pieces, these include :-

1. Beethoven
2. Gallay
3. Gounod
4. Schumann
5. Saint Saens
6. Dukas.
