Collaborative Health Event - UCLAN - 9am - 4pm - 2/9/19

Aug, 13 2019

~If you want to get a good job done it’s vital that you have a skilled, reliable and efficient team around you. In the area of health care an important pro-active initiative has taken place. It is designed to develop new treatments and knowledge for better health and care, building the evidence for new approaches that are safe and effective.

This evidently leads to a day taking place on Monday 2nd September between the hours of 9am - 4pm. ‘Partnerships in Clinical Research Across Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health’ will be based at UCLAN’S Greenbank Lecture Theatre.

It will enhance a persons knowledge of research in practice settings, including research co-led by clinicians and academics working together in the fields of Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health.

Here are the top three things you will learn on this day:-

  1. A wide range of free online resources to support research awareness
  2. Evidence-based practice
  3. Practice-based evaluation approaches.

This symposium programme includes invited presentations across all NMAHP disciplines from the UK and Germany, plus structured workshop activities and personalised learning.

The event is free to attend but interested ones must register via the following link :- https://www.uclan.ac.uk/news/events. Your presence on the day will automatically grant you an attendance certificate for your CPD record.

This interactive workshop will highlight the benefits of international collaboration for sharing research and best practice:-
