~When a child reaches their teenage years they begin a period of great change. This is called adolescence. It’s when the mind and body are maturing into adulthood and old childish ideas and motives begin to fade as the  new cast is forming which begins a whole new journey both for themselves and their peer group.

This can be compared when a child graduates from Secondary School then on into college and if successful an educational career at University beckons. All these institutions are preparing the individual for the workforce and whichever career they immerse themselves in will find the talented one consistently trying to grow, develop and evolve.

Neville is one such person. Having qualified at University he now regularly exhibits his work at the PR1 Gallery at UCLAN. He also has a notable profile on the Saatchi Online website. His exhibitions have travelled as far as London and Europe. His recent work is soon to go on display.

‘Metamorphoses’ continues the theme of 2018’s ‘Gold’ exhibition at UCLAN. It will take place from 2nd - 13th September between the hours of 9am -5pm.

Neville will explore the endless possibilities of his signature pouring and dripping approach to abstract impressionist painting which characterised last year's show.

All are welcome to attend the Preview event which will take place on Monday 2 September at 6.00pm and an Artist’s Talk will be scheduled for the second week (date and time to be finalised).

The event is free to attend and no booking is required.

Neville specialises in using metallic oil paints, allowing the various pigments to intermingle, interact and coalesce, while at the same time exercising a considerable degree of control over the eventual outcome, coaxing life into the emerging 'metamorphoses' at the moment of gestation.
