Who's Next - Who Tribute Act - New Continental - 8pm - 5/7/19

~Together they’ve created some of the best rock tracks in the history of music. Having formed in 1964 London based  act The Who went on to conquer the world. They were synonymous for their epic performances due in part to front man Roger Daltrey and the percussive technique of the late Keith Moon.

The band called it a day in 1983 but have had occasional live sets throughout the 1980’s and 1990’s. After they lost another member John Entwistle in 2002 a new album was postponed.

The years that followed Entwistle’s death saw guitarist Pete Townsend and Roger Daltrey continue The Who legacy. They recruited new members and have since performed their greatest hits including ‘Baba O’ Riley”, ‘ Won’t Get Fooled Again’ and the era defining ‘My Generation’.

Now a new generation are about to hear their music all over again. ‘Who’s Next’ are described as the premier tribute to The Who and the great news is they’re coming to The New Continental on Friday 5th July 2019 at 8pm.

Expect to see Daltrey’s swinging microphone and gutsy vocals, Townshend’s trademark windmill guitar playing style, Entwistle’s ice cool virtuoso bass playing and Moon’s wild-man antics; demolishing the drums like a man possessed! WHO'S NEXT wear period stage outfits and use authentic instruments to create the total WHO concert experience.
