~When a famous musician releases a statement saying they are going on tour after a break from the music business, their loyal followers will immediately see how they can get a pair of tickets with the knowledge they will go fast and that millions will want to be in the audience to see their favourite singer.
On a local level, The Makers Market events also has a loyal following with thousands of visitors heading to markets across the north west. But instead of attracting undue attention to themselves they are focusing primarily on the stalls which in turn make a valuable profit.
The Makers Market travels across the North West and will visit the following four places :-
- Knutsford
- Liverpool, at the Lowry Outlet,
- Chorton
- Spinningfields in Manchester.
At the Makers Market visitors get to meet unique creators, makers, designers, producers, bakers, musicians & artists. The event, which is to be staged on the second Saturday of every month takes place between 10am and 4pm.
The next Makers Market is taking place this Saturday 11th May 2019 at the Flag Market, Cheapside, Preston. Admission is completely free but you will have to gage interest with the stalls with the intention to purchase something.
Andrew Stringer, Chair of the City’s Retail Forum expresses his honesty in incorporating Preston into it’s road show and the positive affects it will have on the city,
