UCLAN Avenham Park 5K And Fun Run - 10am -1pm - 6/5/19

~We’ve all no doubt enjoyed a casual walk or jog in an idyllic setting. But what if you ran with a crowd of many all doing it for a worthwhile cause. You would feel elated and driven on by the camaraderie to be had with fellow runners.

On bank holiday Monday ( May 6th ) hundreds are gathering for the UCLAN Avenham Park 5K and Fun Run. Everyone will meet at the Riverside Café at Avenham Park, Preston.

The fun run will start at 10am and the 5K will begin at 11am. All participants will be running for the Cash for Kids charity.

In addition 5K finishers will be rewarded with a T- shirt if they pre-entered before April 8th 2019.

Here are some other things you may wish to note down :-

  • Prizes 5K:
  • 1-3 Men 1-3 Ladies
  • 1st vet male 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80
  • 1st vet female 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80
  • Team prize 1st 3 male and 1st 3 female - (3 to count)
  •  
  • Admission costs:
  • 5k - £13.50 - Non-club runner
  • 5k - £11.50 - UKA club affiliated runner
  • Fun Run - £5.20

Medals will rewarded to all finishers of the 5K and fun run.
