~The Easter weekend was, for many families an opportunity to indulge in a variety of chocolate and to enjoy the nice sunshine. The parent’s energy might be waring thin by this point but they have some fuel left to make the most of an event happening tomorrow.

Especially designed for babies, young children and parents, “ The BabyLoved Family FunHouse’ is coming to The People’s Production Lab located at Guildhall Street, Preston.

It all takes place tomorrow ( Saturday April 27th ). Here is a complete rundown of the things you can expect at this fun filled event :-

  • Crafty workshops
  • Family yoga
  • Slime making,
  • Hypno-birthing demonstrations
  • A family disco
  • A pre-loved marketplace to the venue in Guildhall Street.

Families can pick up quality goods at a fraction of the price in the marketplace and the local indie brands will be out in force, providing attendees with all the cool creative quirky clothing, crafts and gifts.

It’s not all about babies either. Mums can benefit from a deluxe pampering experience at The Mum Shop which will include a complete personal stylist, pamper products for mums and ‘pop up hip hop and happening’ retro wear boutique.

For Dads, they may be inclined to explore the outdoor courtyard where they can try street food, cakes galore, crepes, a barista and a licensed bar. If kids are in tow, they can try out the festival glitter bar which will be providing festival faces and glitter tattoos whilst attendees enjoy the fun-time family vibes and family disco.

The top three drinks adults and children will need to keep up the momentum are:-

  • Proseccos
  • Beers
  • Kiddy cocktails.

In addition to all this, BabyLoved Family will be collecting donations of clothing, toys, household items and food for the local Women’s Refuge. Families can bring along their no longer needed items to the event, and these are delivered direct to the refuge where the items are put to great use.
