~Thirty years ago you would see children playing in woods and forests making dens and lighting fires.
Sadly in 2019, a lot of kids find themselves glued to their tablet to create entertainment. But, thanks to venue on the outskirts of Preston, children are being re-taught how to connect with the outside world instead of the internet.
This Tuesday 9th April between the hours of 2pm - 4pm comes ‘Wild Families :- Survival at Brockholes Nature Reserve.
Families and young children are encouraged to attend this fantastic day which is guaranteed to get everyone involved in our natural world.
Following a complete camouflage transformation you will learn these three practical activities:-
- Shelter building
- Fire lighting
- Campfire cooking
