~Probably one of the most well known names given to a male is John Smith. You could visit almost anywhere in the UK and meet a boy or man given this name. But there is one John Smith that may be more familiar on an international level but on a local level, he is just getting started.
Devon based John Smith creates guitar based folk music and has toured extensively as a headliner and support act. He has been the opening act for established musicians such as John Martyn, James Yorkston, Martin Carthy, Jools Holland, Gil Scott-Heron and Chris Thile.
On Wednesday 6th February 2019 John Smith is bringing his Hummingbird Tour to The Continental pub on South Meadow Lane,
Preston, Lancashire. It’s a three hour set with John beginning at 7pm and concluding at 10pm. Expect an interval after 90 minutes.
Potentially becoming as well known as his Christian name, John Smith is also a regular on the UK festival circuit. Here is the top three festivals he has performed at :-
