Spotlight On CCG Members :- Professor Rob Campbell

Dec, 6 2018

~~Our early educational experiences can set us up for life and can have a positive effect on our long term career goals. This month’s ‘Spotlight on CCG Members’ achieved such a goal in the field of philosophy. Let’s learn more from Professor Rob Campbell.

Rob began learning about philosophy in his youth. As he got older and more established as a philosopher he published a series of books and articles on business ethics, jurisprudence, legal and social philosophy, medical ethics and health policy.

As well as publishing these highly accomplished books and articles Rob worked for many years in higher education, specializing latterly in research management and governance and quality assurance and enhancement.

Rob worked for some time as a lecturer at one of the North West’s prestigious Universities. Since 2015 Professor Campbell stepped down from his role as Pro Vice Chancellor (Academic) of the University of Bolton. He has though recently become Emeritus Professor of Philosophy.

But Rob is no one trick pony and has managed to garner a number of titles to his name, these include :-

• Director of Quality Assurance at Finito Education
• Chair of the Board of Futureworks School of Media
• Member of the Board of the United Kingdom College of Business and Computing
• Chair of the NHS Advisory Committee on Clinical Excellence Awards for the North West.

As of December 2018 he is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, the Royal Society of Medicine and Fellow and trustee of the National Forum for Health and Wellbeing.

We humbly welcome Professor Rob Campbell to the CCG. Welcome aboard.
