Worldwise Samba Drummers - UCLAN - Wednesdays - 6pm-8pm

~It’s all too easy to spend a Wednesday evening snuggled up on the sofa with your loved one watching your favourite movie. What if your partner though was a skilled drummer and had a yearning to play percussion throughout the duration of the film.

Thankfully, there is a solution. The Worldwise Samba Drummers takes place every Wednesday night between the hours of 6pm -8pm.  This lively community group meets at UCLAN’S  Media Factory, Room 035, Kirkham Street, Preston.

The group pride themselves on sharing and playing loud, high energy drum patterns drawn from or based upon Brazilian samba and candomble.

If this appeals to you and you’re new to this field of percussion then fear not! No musical experience is required and instruments are provided - you just need to turn up and have a go.

Your first session is completely free then the following session is £3. This event is supported by the UCLAN Something for Everyone project.
