~UCLAN’s Worldwise Learning Centre at the School of Language and Global Studies is dedicated to offering support, training and professional development opportunities to UCLAN students, members of staff, the public and the business community of England’s North West.
They strive to support and encourage individuals to develop and improve their cross-cultural awareness and intercultural or linguistic communication skills for the advancement of academic studies, or professional careers in multicultural and multilingual settings.
This demonstrates that language is at the very heart of what they teach so you can imagine that when a photograph competition was conceived images from abroad came in abundance.
The WorldWise Photo Exhibition is taking place from Wednesday December 5th - 14th 2018. It will take place each day from 9am -5pm in Room 108 of UCLAN’S Adelphi Building, Preston Campus.
Images that have been taken have all been entered into the Worldwise photo competition. The winners of the competition will be announced at the launch event on the opening day, and the photographs will be available for viewing during Worldwise Centre term time opening hours.
