~UCLAN is renowned for enrolling students every year from outside the UK. Engagement in  out of University activities creates confidence and it’s  helps to make apprehensive ones feel included in a non-judgemental and respectful environment.

I would imagine Taiwan students may consider studying a course at UCLAN and, in an  exhibition coming soon  Prestonians will  discover much more about the Taiwanese heritage.

Beginning Monday October 29th - Friday November 2nd 2018 is an exhibition showcasing  a series of graphic posters designed by the award-winning students who participated in the "Indigenous Poster Design Competition" held every two years in Taiwan.

It will be held at UCLAN’S PR1 Gallery at the Victoria Building. Each individual piece of work is inspired by Taiwanese indigenous culture. It is hoped that the work on display will bring greater awareness of cultural diversity from the Taiwanese people.

Here are a couple of highlights you may wish to note down taking place during the exhibition :-

  • Monday 29th October - a guest talk with the Golden Award winner, Ms Fu-Ning Hsu at 4.00pm.
  • Opening night event will begin at 7.00pm - a talk from the Curator Niki Alsford and a book launch.

Please note :- this is a free event but you may wish to purchase refreshments close to the University.
