~To interpret a medical supplement into a piece of performance art takes some doing. Thanks to the highly trained dancers at Clod Ensemble an hour length performance is set to challenge the audience and determine what is real and what is fake.
In association with Derelict and UCLAN, ‘Placebo’ is making it’s way to Theatre 1 at the Media Factory. The performance will portray the effective mechanisms we, as humans adopt in order to stay afloat even everything around us is falling apart.
There will be in total, 7 dancers, dancing to an orchestral sweep of music that combines classical favourites and euphoric club anthems. The dancers will collide, overlap and multiply as they discern the difference between pleasure and pain.
The evening takes place on Friday October 19th between 7.30pm and 8.30pm. It’s £12 upon entrance and £9 for concessions including the elderly and students. You can purchase tickets online by logging on to :-derelictlive.org.

Clod Ensemble continue to develop their finely tuned reputation with this forthcoming performance. Their known for their provocative routines which are ambitious in scale and concept.
