~Have you ever watched the Pirates of the Caribbean films and imagined yourself taking on the swashbuckling role of Captain Jack Sparrow? Well, although the North West of England may not have the same glitz and glamour as the successful film franchise it does however provide it’s young potential pirates the opportunity to meet their adventurous heroes in an exciting event coming soon.

Every weekend there is something going on  at the Flag Market and Harris. These are family tailored events which have been running now since June 2nd and will conclude on 25th August 2018.  The events are supported by Blog Preston and  are ideally aimed at providing both the young and mature amongst us something of interest, perhaps to spark the imagination or just a pleasurable day out.

This Saturday 4th August is the turn of ‘Pirates of Preston’. It is scheduled to take place from 12noon till 4pm. It’s an ideal time to meet the pirates, explore the islands, find the clues and dig for buried treasure.
