~Birthday celebrations are generally quite predictable. Concealing the event from the person, a large cake with plenty of candles and chocolate, a reminder of how old you are and a diverse mix of people from the past and present.

What if I was tell you about a birthday that didn’t tick all the boxes above except perhaps the latter on the basis that you have some form of connection with the following information.

This Saturday 28th April 2018 Ashton Park are hosting a free garden party. It will take place from 10am - 4pm and is located at Pedders Lane, Ashton, Preston.

The ‘Let’s Grow Preston’ team are inviting locals to their community garden to simply ‘dig in’ on  what they have on offer. The day will consist of the following :-

*Stalls
*BBQ
*Tombola
*Refreshments
*Gardeners question time
*Pedal bike safety check

Please note :- As well as free entry, there is also free parking located near Ashton Park.
