~We live in a digital age, there’s no escaping it. Whether you are young or advancing in years you will at some point come into contact with a smartphone, a tablet or a computer.

That being the case a workshop designed to equip you in getting confident with  technology will keep you in line with your peers, learn new skills and it’s also really fun and enjoyable.

Savvy Surfers - Technology Class takes place every Tuesday from 10am -12noon. It’s part of UCLAN’s In the City programme and is located at St. George’s Shopping Centre on Lune Street, Preston.

It’s a free session and you can turn up anytime between the hours stated for excellent advice and guidance from beginners - advanced. People of all abilities are welcome.

Refreshments are available too in the form of tea, coffee and juice to give you the much needed boost to help you learn and adapt to new technology.
