Paul Carrack Live In Preston This March 2018

~If you’ve been watching the current series of The Voice on ITV, you’ll be familiar with the first stage in the competition which sees contestants bravely perform to an audience with  four chairs that can only be turned if the judges ( Will I Am, Tom Jones, Olly Murs and Jennifer Hudson) are impressed with the contestants voice, once turned the contestant then has to pick one of the judges that  has turned then the battle part of the competition takes place in which two from each group battle it out for a place in the next round.

Can you imagine though if somebody who has already made it in the music industry performs for the judges. It has occurred in the past and in the recent series. What if, legendary Sheffield born singer and former front man of Ace, Squeeze and Mike and the Mechanics, Mr. Paul Carrack did his bit for stardom. Dubbed by the BBC as ‘The Man with the Golden Voice’ , Paul would be guaranteed a turn and I’m guessing Tom Jones would be his coach as he is the voice of Wales.

 You don’t have to wait for his appearance on The Voice to remind you what an amazing talent he is. He’s coming to The Preston Guild Hall and Charter Theatre on Friday 16th March 2018. Tickets are priced at £34.00 and can be obtained by contacting the Box Office on :- 01772 80 44 44.

Preston Guild Hall is located on Lancaster Road, Preston, PR1, 1HT, opposite The Town Hall. The pay and display multi story car park above the Central Bus Station provides direct pedestrian access to the venue. Preston’s prime central location means that as a city it is easily accessible from anywhere in the country with the M6, on the doorstep of the city, boasting 5 major junctions and direct links to the M65 (East Lancashire), the M61 (Manchester) and the M55 (Blackpool).

This will be the first of 23 venues Paul is performing this Spring 2018. His hits include ‘How Long’, ‘Tempted’ and ‘The Living Years’. His soulful voice has appealed to millions of fans all around the world. His songs have since been covered by music’s most established musicians such as The Eagles and Tom Jones. He has also collaborated with recording artists at live venues including, Elton John, Van Morrison and Roger Waters.
