Family History Talk - Lancashire Archives - 14/2/18

~If you’ve ever watched the popular BBC Television Series ‘Who Do You Think You Are?’ and found yourself  completely fascinated by the unravelling events about the past ancestors from  the themed celebrity.The programme consistently adds drama, shock twists and revelations of the great, great, great grandparent in question.

You don’t necessarily need to turn on the television to learn about your past. You can do it locally by checking out the Records Office or by visiting Lancashire Archives on Bow Lane in Preston.

This February they’re hosting a free Family History Talk. It will take place next Wednesday February 14th between 12.30pm -1.30pm. Admission is free but you do however need to book your place. You can do so by dialling :- 01772 533039 or by  emailing :- record.office@lancashire.gov.uk.

Kathryn Newman will be speaking on the topic :- ‘When we Were Young’ - a comprehensive collection of childhood records for family historians.
